Tame Impala, those “three bright-eyed and barefooted lads” from Perth are making some damn fine music, I guess it’s a new thing, hyped by MGMT, this Psychadelic 60’s wise Rock.
But I like it!

These guys signed with Modular Records, which I guess, is one of the main reasons for this absolutely stunning videoclip.
The video is directed by the creative minds Special Problems (Cut Off Your Hands, Mercy Arms).
This outfit has created the perfect trippy realm for you to get lost in. Humming birds that flutter around a sumo wrestler, monkeys bounce off canons and dance upon their fiery discharge, and dogs jump at floating ships on the horizon like possessed beasts.

I don’t think many belgian scenesters have heared of the name ‘Obi Blanche’.
This guy’s last EP came out with New Judas (the label we all love!!)
Obi Blanche’s music is best discribed as ‘Hobo-tech’ (that is what he says)

To make the image more complete:
The rumour goes, that this track is played by two drugged out country-fags
on an electric guitar that is ready to serve as fuelwood (watch out seasick steve!),

Last week I had this email from a new Belgian producersduo,
This is what they e-mailed me:

Yo Guys
We’re Beatbouncers, a belgian fidget/crunk/electro DJ-duo.
We’re about to release our first EP, so we’re mailing you this promo version of the original mix.
The EP will be released in the first week of January under the Belgian ‘Les Rois Qui Dansent’ label and it will feature remixes of QG, Keatch and LEE MORTIMER

I would be a hypocrite if I didn’t mention you all that my first impression was quite bad, when I first heared about them
I thought, God no, another duo, trying to do the same shit as Crookers and the Bloody Beetroots
and please, do not understand me wrong, by using the word ’shit’ I really mean ‘SHIT’

But, but but but, I must admit, Bubblegum sounds good, and I guess the remixes will be stunning.
